Weather in Kas – All year round sunshine. The Turkish Riviera is famous for its high sunshine levels and the resort of Kas is no exception. Boasting a spectacular 320 days of sunshine per year this unspoilt area is the perfect year round sunshine destination. Kas lies on the Mediterranean coast and is sheltered from any winds by the surrounding mountains. Temperatures in Kas during the long summer months can head over the 30C mark on a regular basis, but have been known to climb above 35C during the months of July and August. You can expect at least 12 hours of sunshine per day during the peak summer months and practically no rain whatsoever.
Kas Weather – High summer temperatures. As a Mediterranean sunshine destination Kas is hard to beat. From April until October the temperature in Kas will not usually dip below 20C and will stay close to 30C from June until September. The heat during the peak summer months may be too intense for some and the cooler spring and autumn months may be preferable. April, May and October will bring temperatures of around 20C to 25C and will make exploring nearby resorts such as Kalkan and Olu Deniz a comfortable experience. Evenings during the summer months will still be warm and light clothing will be all that is required.

Temperatures during the winter months will hover around the 15C mark giving more than enough sunshine to pick up a golden tan. Easter and October holidays in Kas are very popular due to the 20C temperature and seven hours of sunshine per day. While Britain feels the chill during the winter you can be soaking in the sunshine in Kas within only four hours of flying from the UK

The weather in Kaş is notoriously difficult to predict as the town is surrounded by mountains facing the sea. There can sometimes be a storm in Kalkan (25km down the coast) but lovely sunshine in Kaş! Most weather predictions you can find will be based in Antalya or Fethiye (the two nearest cities) and the weather there can be very different from this area. However there are general trends and over time we will but what weather you can expect at different times.
