Scuba Diving in Kaş
Kas is one of the best places for scuba diving in the Mediterranean Sea and it offers the best diving in Turkey. Divers from all over the world come to Kas for a diving holiday and they all take great memories back home.
Kas offers around 30 different dive sites that are all reachable within 20 minutes leaving the harbour. Example Dive Centre Programme
For those guests who have never had the opportunity to breathe under water, we run trial dives twice a week from the beach. Under the supervision of a qualified instructor you can make your first experience in diving. If you get hooked, there is a wide range of courses to choose from.
“Hand in hand”-diving is a program that enables you to learn basic theory and skills necessary to do a boat-dive with a qualified instructor. Or you can enrol in a full open water diver or CMAS 1 Star course that the SIRENA Diving Centre runs several times a week.
The course is structured in easy to understand modules. The first two days you spend with confined water training, and theory lessons in classroom. From the third day on you will be ready to dive from the boat on great dives pots of Kas.
Generally it takes 5-7 days to complete a beginners course.
For qualified divers we run a wide range of continuous education on all levels and most of the speciality courses according to PADI, CMAS & VIT standards. In the PADI system we offer courses from beginner (Open Water Diver) up to experienced levels like PADI Dive master or Master Scuba Diver.
In the CMAS system we offer beginner courses, free diving courses and advanced training/certification up to CMAS Assistant Instructor.

The No 1 dive spot in whole turkey !

Max depth : 6- 65 metres
Things to see : Airplane wreck from second world war (50-65 metres) , Barakuda, Rare Snails, Stingrays, Octopus, Muray Eels, Brasses, Jackfishes, Trigger-Fishes, mayn huge Groupers
Adaptable to : Beginners & experienced divers. Airplane wreck is only allowed to very experienced divers with minimum 100 logged dives and an approval by an SIRENA instructor.

A Visitor's Experience
“I came to Kas to have a scuba diving holiday after a six year break. At first I could hardly remember how to put my equipment together but the guys on the boat looked after me and soon I was like a fish in water again. The sea here is beautiful, teaming with life and with lots of special interest sites, shipwrecks, caves and canyons. I've dived in Bodrum and Fethiye but this was way better. The sea is clean and the visibility is great. Ý dived with Nautilus diving because they were cheap, and I was so happy with the way they looked after me. I came on my own, and they made me feel really welcome. After two weeks I didn't want to leave. There were more experienced divers on the boat, making deep dives and telling me about their experiences. I think I'll come back next year and take another course so I can do some too. Kas is a really friendly little town with a lot of ancient Lycian sites around I could recommend it to everyone. The best thing though is the sea!”
